Images Used On This Website

Several sets of images are used to build the website. All of the images are used with permission of the copyright holder. Images may not be copied or used elsewhere without obtaining appropriate permissions from the copyright holders.

Design Elements and Maps

The basic design element images for the site and the car park and local maps were produced by The Architect Shop in York, for The Joseph Rowntree Theatre. Permission must be obtained from the Management Board before using any of these images.

Show Images

Images used for particular shows - normally copies of the show posters - are provided by the organisation presenting the show. Show images are copyright to or licensed by the presenting organisation. They may not be reused without permission from the copyright holder.

Generic images used for types of shows where we have not got a specific show image are taken from a variety of sources, however the vast majority use licensed stock images from Dreamstime. The images are generally modified for orientation and size and a theatre logo added.

All full size show images should have a copyright information link associated with them (in general as a popup that appears when you hover over the image).

Photographs

Other photographs used on the site are provided by Sarah Tweedie for The Joseph Rowntree Theatre. Other examples of Sarah's work can be found at Yorkcam.
